Mr. Urquhart has co-led a number of high-profile public and private real estate executive searches, placed senior executives across all functional areas of global insurance organizations, and led both senior lawyer and infrastructure searches at leading international law firms.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Urquhart consulted for six years with one of Canada’s largest privately held executive search firms, and focused on clients in the Financial Services, Legal, Retail, and Not-for-Profit sectors within Canada and the United States.

With 12 years of executive search experience, he brings a disciplined, targeted and transparent approach to client and candidate communication and search execution.

Mr. Urquhart plays an active role in multiple firm-wide initiatives, participating as a member of the KF Women’s Group, the United Way Committee, and leading Korn Ferry’s Emerging Real Estate and Insurance Executive programs.

Mr. Urquhart holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School where he graduated with distinction. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University and has studied in Italy, Costa Rica and Denmark at the Copenhagen Business School.
