Senior Client Partner, Financial Services
Gord Urquhart is a Senior Client Partner based in Korn Ferry’s Toronto office. His practice is focused on the Canadian and U.S. Financial Services market, with expertise in consumer and commercial banking, insurance, and real estate.
With 15 years of executive search experience, Gord brings a disciplined, targeted and transparent approach to client and candidate communication and search execution. Gord has successfully placed hundreds of financial services executives in senior leadership roles across a wide variety of business unit and corporate functions.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Urquhart consulted for six years with one of Canada’s largest privately held executive search firms, and focused on clients in the Financial Services, Legal, Retail, and Not-for-Profit sectors aross North America.
Mr. Urquhart plays an active role in multiple firm-wide initiatives, participating as a member of the United Way Committee, and leading Korn Ferry’s Emerging Real Estate and Insurance Executive programs.
Mr. Urquhart holds a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School where he graduated with distinction. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University and studied at the Copenhagen Business School.
