Ms. Severinsen joined Korn Ferry in January 2012 to establish an Assessment Consulting practice within the Korn Ferry recruiting business in Australia. Ms. Severinsen and her team assisted organizations across Asia-Pacific to audit, analyze and optimize various talent-focused strategies such as assessment and selection, high potential talent identification and talent development.
In September 2015, Ms. Severinsen transferred to the USA to build a center of expertise responsible for integrating and embedding Korn Ferry's intellectual property and assessment solutions within Korn Ferry's professional recruitment portfolio. This included advising, designing and implementing best-practice assessment strategies and solutions that support Korn Ferry's client partners to achieve their talent objectives.
In November 2017, Ms. Severinsen joined the Korn Ferry Institute, Korn Ferry's global center of research, analytics and innovation for human and organizational performance. In her role as Vice President, Intellectual Property Development, Ms. Severinsen, partners with subject matter experts and stakeholders to lead the design and creation of impactful intellectual property, products and solutions that deliver effective leadership, talent development and business growth. Supporting the breadth and depth of the firm's consulting and productized services, the Korn Ferry Institute build the bridge between rigorous scientific foundation and pragmatic application, and challenge, innovate and stimulate thinking and best practice in partnership with Korn Ferry's consultants and client organizations.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, as an inhouse consultant for a large Australasian insurance company, Ms. Severinsen successfully designed and implemented an enterprise-wide talent identification and selection assessment framework. She also spent six years with a multi-national professional services firm, delivering recruitment solutions in New Zealand before transferring to the assessment and business psychology consulting team in Australia.
Ms. Severinsen has extensive talent consulting and project management experience applying assessment in areas such as recruitment and selection, talent identification, validation and development, job analysis, competency design, training design and workshop facilitation.
She has partnered with global organizations in a variety of industries, including resources, retail, banking and finance, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, technology, engineering and government, from both the private and public sectors.
Ms. Severinsen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Victoria University of Wellington and a Master of Arts in Industrial and Organizational Psychology (Honors) from Massey University, New Zealand. She is an associate member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP), in addition to being accredited in numerous global assessment tools and competency frameworks.
