Mette focuses on recruiting C-level executives as well as advisory services at the top - comprising leadership assessment, team composition and effectiveness. Further, Mette is highly experienced within NED recruiting and Board advisory - with a spike in Board Evaluation. Clients include both privately held, publicly listed and PE-backed businesses.

Mette has spent nearly two decades working as a trusted leadership advisor. Prior to joining Korn Ferry, she spent more than a decade working with another global executive search firm, where she led the Financial Services Practice in the Nordics and held the Managing Partner role for the Copenhagen office for a number of years. 

For the first chapter of her career, Mette worked in management consulting for a Nordic strategy consultancy (now part of Bain) across corporate strategy, M&A, business transformation, organisational design and corporate social responsibility. This included extensive international experience and stationing in both US and EMEA. 

Mette holds a MSc in Economics & Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and she was a visiting scholar at NYU Stern School of Business and McGill University in Montreal. After completing her studies, Mette has been a frequent external lecturer in Corporate Finance at CBS, where she is currently also part of faculty for the CBS Executive programme teaching a module on Board Evaluation. 

Mette is fluent in Danish and English, and speaks basic French.
