He recently co-authored a book on the General Data Protection Act "The GDPR Challenge" dealing with data privacy and social media and is an advocate for protecting individual's digital privacy rights.

Owen is also a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician and Trustee for his local EMS agency.  He lives with his family, including is dog Winnie, at the Jersey shore enjoying surfing, golf and pickleball.

As an active alumnus of Seton Hall University, he follows his alma mater basketball team "The Pirates."
