Previously, Mr Mullinjer served as the Regional Head of Heidrick & Struggles in Asia Pacific and the Middle East from 2011 to 2017. He led the firm’s market entry strategy into China, establishing the firm’s Beijing and Shanghai offices and spearheaded two strategic acquisitions in Dubai and Australia.
During his tenure he served as a board member of a web-based talent management system Jobkoo.com, that was sold to Chinese investors and Vice-Chair and board member of the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC) 2016-2017.
Mr Mullinjer is an Australian national who speaks fluent Mandarin having lived and worked in China for 20 years and his experience spans Asia Pacific. In his prior role he interacted frequently with the CEOs of the region’s most successful businesses and has deep insight into the different leadership dynamics in markets as diverse as China, Australia, India, Middle East and Japan.
Mr Mullinjer's practical experience is balanced by academic research. He holds two bachelors and three masters’ degrees and has completed research on joint venture management in China at the Australian National University. Most recently Mr Mullinjer completed the INSEAD Executive Masters Degree in Individual and Organizational Psychology.
