Adapting to evolving business roles

Employees are a company’s greatest asset. To remain competitive in this rapidly changing world, it’s critical to attract and retain individuals who can best embody the role. We know that people who are a strong fit for their role are on average 8x more likely to thrive within the organization compared to someone who is a poor fit. Defining the role effectively is the first step.

In the past, we may have gathered a focus group of various stakeholders in a room and discussed our views about each role until an agreement was reached. However, the pandemic’s long-term influence on remote and global work has made this much more challenging.

As a result, Korn Ferry has created the Success Profile Survey (SPS), a new collaborative survey-based functionality that can be used to create and edit a Success Profile. Now, multiple users can collaborate on creating and editing a Success Profile, capturing inputs from differing perspectives.

How it works

An interactive output dashboard displays the input, which can then be reviewed and finalized.

SPS covers a range of questions such as:

  • What are the competencies of the role?
  • What are the wider role requirements?
  • What is the company culture?

Answers to these questions can be used to inform the changing role requirements within your business to continually adapt and evolve.

Once finalized, the Success Profile is saved to Profile Manager for use in the Digital Suite for role comparison, assessment and other activities.
