Elektra Starr Mararian Senior Client Partner is a leader in the Firm's Global Technology Market practice. She is also the Software Practice Leader for Asia Pacific and a leading executive in the Firm's Digital and Marketing Center of Expertise.

With more than 20 years of experience in technology markets, Ms. Mararian's talent advisory and core executive search experience complements her foundation of commercial and general management experience in the computer networking and mobile communications industry across the disciplines of sales, marketing, human resources and business development.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Mararian founded and managed her own consulting firm, where she focused on research and analysis, market entry strategy, channel development, business development and recruitment for both local firms and international companies expanding their Asia Pacific market presence.

Previously, Ms. Mararian was Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for interTouch, a leading technology services company. Her accomplishments there helped bring the company to profitability and drive its acquisition by Japan's NTT DoCoMo. Prior to interTouch, she held a number of progressive Asia Pacific management positions at iPass, a leader of enterprise mobility client software, including managing director of Asia Pacific Japan, and was a member of the senior leadership team to take the company public on the NASDAQ.

Prior to that, Ms. Mararian held various management positions at Intel, Shiva Corporation and Chesterton International. Before relocating to Asia in 1998, Ms. Mararian worked in the U.S.A. managing international sales and distribution.

She is a founding member and director of the HFTP Asia Chapter, sits on the AmCham ICT Committee in Singapore, and sits on the Leadership Committee of the American Dragons of Singapore.

Ms. Mararian holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (with honors) in International Business (Asian studies) from The McCallum Graduate School of Business in Massachusetts, and a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Management (marketing and Spanish minors) from Bentley University in Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A
