Mr. Deck has more than 10 years of global search and talent advisory experience with strong expertise in the mining sector where he has led hundreds of search assignments at the C-suite, board and executive level for the global majors, mid-tier, and development stage mining companies. In addition, Mr. Deck has worked extensively with private equity sponsored clients across the broader industrial sector.

Mr. Deck advises clients on a diverse range of talent strategies tailored to attracting, developing and retaining executive talent in line with strategic business objectives.

Mr. Deck has been involved in an extensive number of local and international assignments with functional emphasis on Board Directors, Chief Executive Officers, Chief Financial Officers, corporate development, operations, and project development executives.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Deck worked in real-estate development for a Vancouver based development firm focused on ski resort development in Western Canada.

Mr. Deck earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics from Western University in Canada.
