Senior Client Partner, Global Financial Officers Practice
Matthew Thomas sits in Korn Ferry’s London Office and works in the Financial Officers practice, EMEA. Together with the team, Matthew is responsible for leading search assignments for clients across all industry verticals within the UK and EMEA.
The Financial Officers practice coverage includes CFO, Controller, Tax, FP&A, Shared Services, Treasury, Tax and Audit placements into both large and small, public and private companies.
Matthew joined Korn Ferry in 2014 and whilst primarily focussed on the UK & Ireland he has also completed selected mandates in Continental Europe and the Middle East. He has worked in senior finance recruitment for over 15 years working on behalf of a wide spectrum of leading corporate, professional services and financial services companies.
Prior to Korn Ferry, Matthew assisted in building the Financial Officers practice at a financial services boutique for 5 years, working on searches in Europe, the Middle East and North America. Matthew has also worked for another top 5 leading global search firm in Singapore placing senior functional experts across the APAC region.
Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Exeter University and started his career on the ‘Fast Track’ scheme at the Home Office. He has lived and worked in Asia, US and the UK.
