Stuart Melaia is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s Vancouver office and a member of the Firm’s Global Industrial Practice and serves clients within the Basic Materials, Manufacturing and Transportation sectors with extensive experience in process industries including mining, forest products, paper & packaging, steel, infrastructure and energy. 

Since joining Korn Ferry in 2007, Mr. Melaia has led hundreds of engagements at the C-suite, board and executive level for clients ranging from publicly held multinationals to start-ups, with expertise in global and cross-border execution.

Mr. Melaia advises clients globally on designing talent management strategies tailored to attracting, developing and retaining executive talent in line with strategic business objectives.

Mr. Melaia commenced his career with a boutique search firm specializing in the wireless technology and telecommunications sectors.

Mr. Melaia is a board director for the Immigrant Employment Council of B.C. (IEC-BC) a not-for-profit organization that provides British Columbia employers with solutions, tools and resources they need to attract, hire and retain qualified immigrant talent.

Mr. Melaia has lived and worked in Africa, Europe and North America. He holds Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand.
