Allowing Pop-Up Windows in Common Browsers

 

Follow the instructions below to disable pop-up blockers in your supported browser. You may choose in most cases to disable blocking for all pop-ups, or you may leave the blocker enabled and create an exception that only disables blocking for Korn Ferry products.

Chrome

  • Navigate to the Assessments Portal: https://assessments.kornferry.com.
  • Click on the green padlock labelled Secure to the left of your address bar, and choose Allow for Pop-ups and redirects (refer to screenshot below)

 

  • Refresh the page (or exit and re-launch Chrome)

Internet Explorer

Disable Pop-up Blocker

To temporarily disable your popup blocker in Internet Explorer, follow the instructions outlined below:

  • Click on the Tools dropdown menu and expand the option for Pop-up blocker
  • Click on Turn off Pop-up Blocker as shown below.

 

Allow popups

  • When attempting to launch your assessment, you are presented with the following bar at the bottom of the browser window.

     

  • Click on Options for this site and choose Always allowThe page will automatically refresh
  • Click on the assessment module again to launch your assessment.

Firefox

Disable Pop-up Blocker

  • In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the menu button (the button with three horizontal stripes) followed by Options.
  • Navigate to the Content section and uncheck Block pop-up windows as shown below.

 

Add Exception

  • In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the menu button (the button with three horizontal stripes) followed by Options.
  • Navigate to the Content section and click on Exceptions as shown below.

 

  • Add Assessments.kornferry.com and click Allow.

 

  • Click Save Changes, then close the Options window.

Safari

  • Open Safari, click on the Safari dropdown menu, followed by Preferences. 
  • Navigate to the Security tab and uncheck the Block pop-up windows option (as shown below).

 

NOTES:

Most pop-up blocking software will NOT interfere with the successful use of these products. However, if pop-up blocker related issues are suspected, follow the instructions given above for your browser to allow pop-up windows.
